Gang member sentenced to 39 years for participating in and ordering a homicide

The Attorney General’s Office (FGR) reported through social networks that Vladimir Antonio Arévalo Chávez, a member with the rank of palabrero of the MS-13 gang, is serving 39 years in prison for ordering and participating in a homicide.

“Gang member Vladimir Antonio Arévalo Chávez was sentenced to 39 years in prison for ordering and participating in a homicide,” indicated the FGR.

The crime occurred in a ravine in the Montserrat neighborhood, where the victim, on the orders of the convicted man, took him to beat him and finally caused his death with a knife.

“The crimes for which he was convicted by the 5th Court Against Organized Crime of San Salvador are: Aggravated homicide, illicit groups,” the Attorney General’s Office mentioned on social networks.
