The gallery L’Ambit Espai d’Art, at the Olot Fairhas started the season with the exhibition Magic stick – 8 painters. The sample, that it can be visited until October 7collects 42 works by artists linked to Olot, whether by origin or by career.
These are Margit Kocsis, Joan Clapera-Mayà, Frederic Comellas, Roc Arbós, Josep Pallarés, Josep Maria Plans, Marta Trepat and Josep Abelló Cirera, eight names that “they share a way of approaching the works he performs, not shaping what they see from the outside in, but reflecting their own worldcreating realities that are visions of the soul through which they interpret and transfer them to the two dimensions using their own, distinctive and translatable codes, according to the exhibition’s curator, Duaita Prats.
The opening ceremony, on Saturday, also included the poetry recital Culture organized by the Amics de les Letres Garrotxines.
