George Romanos: “Ukraine is only the small picture of the world war…”

Mr. Giorgos Romanos is a writer, analyst, historical researcher. In recent years, he has been diligently dealing with the developments in the war going on in Ukraine and on a regular basis, he presents the events as they are recorded through facts, maps and documents, citing all official sources.
He himself, being an author, recently released his new book entitled: The Redeemed, The True History of “National Division”, Leimon Publications, 2023, while the previous independent first book of the Trilogy also had the subject of “National Division” and title : The Insubordinate (Limon Publishing, 2022). He has a rich writing and publishing work. In the interview he gave to the “democratic” he analyzes the latest developments on the front of the war in Ukraine as well as the situation with the dangerous ignition in the Middle East.
• Mr. Romane, let’s start our conversation from the front of the war in Ukraine where it seems, now that there is an admission from the West, that it is moving towards defeat.
In this war, it was finally proven that the three nuclear powers (England, France, USA), the USA together with 50 countries of the Atlantic Alliance, cannot succeed against Russia. This is the bottom line.
Some from February 24, 2022 – when the Russian operations against Ukraine began – had declared that what will happen there is the small picture of the world war, which has to do with geopolitical and geostrategic international issues.
Ukraine was the small issue, but the conflict is expanding. And in this, I refer to the Economist who had written from May 2022 about this.
These 50 NATO countries make up a small percentage of world power.
The USA is constantly recording defeats, such as e.g. the relationship with the Arab countries in the supply of oil.
To put it epigrammatically: Ukraine is (essentially) ruined. Europe’s economy is in a political and economic crisis. The US is divided internally and politically on a number of issues, expressing imbalances.
In 2014, the US attack on Ukraine continued with the (stupid) goal of… cutting Russia into five pieces – there is an official report that refers to this, the Rudd report. Therefore, they have set goals that are not reasonable.
Bill Clinton once discussed with Vladimir Putin the possibility of Russia having a special relationship with NATO, but was later scoffed at.
At the end of the day, there is only one case for peace to prevail: for Russia to become the Eurasia of peace that will peacefully unite Asia with Europe.
Of course, the Anglo-Saxons and the USA do not want to accept something like this. But if this had been done earlier, there would have been peace.
Let’s not forget that there is also the China factor.
The only way to check it is for the US to ally with Russia. And of course, we take out of the equation India (a rising power to be reckoned with) which is more populous than China with 1.5 billion people, and has nuclear technology and factories while sourcing raw materials from Russia.
That is why he is playing with the USA and Russia – although it is clear that he has chosen the latter.
Let me tell you one more thing: Russia recently opened the big road near Finland to the border of China. We are talking about a huge achievement that has already been put into effect since it unites the West with the East. We understand what that means…
• All indications are that this war will end this year – although estimates suggest that it will still take time to see the end, signatures, international sanctions against Russia lifted, US elections, etc. K. How about that?
In the field of global geopolitics there is only one rule: force. There is nothing else. Even if they talk about negotiations, talks, etc. they lie. Power will provide solutions.
In this case, the US has a serious problem. The Americans, of course, will continue the game as they can – so as not to end up with a huge defeat in the elections, and they will send financial aid to Ukraine by all means.
The American President himself, has the possibility by his own decision to give financial aid, even if limited.

• Let’s also go to the Middle East where the situation is now dangerous. I would like your appreciation.
I will refer again to the Economist which is a global constant. Just a few days ago, he said that Israel has not completed its mission in the Gaza Strip as many weeks are still needed. Also, the possibility of the US withdrawing from this operation has been publicly expressed.
It is recalled that the American President Joe Biden has very bad relations with the Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, with the main difference being that the latter represents America’s “hawks” in a frontal attack aimed at the complete elimination of Iran, while the former, this he can’t stand it. Donald Trump was a supporter of Netanyahu.
It is known that, it has now… disfigured the fact that while the US secret services knew the attack plan, the Israeli prime minister did not use the information.
It is no coincidence that the Economist writes that Israeli initiatives are now unpredictable – despite the intensification of military operations.
That is why every day we see so many dead and civilian population. I refer to Jewish media that recently showed the ‘plan’ to exterminate the Palestinians and deport them to Egypt.
The insanity of this plan can only be described as genocide.
• But there is also international concern about the expansion of terrorism from the East with strikes that the West fears.
Look, terrorism has always been a tool, a key of the powerful. You can’t have trained the terrorists in the West and then say it’s her fault. Terrorism is a construct in the West vs. East power game.
In this light, it can be more understandable. The Americans created the terrorists and empowered them with equipment. Unfortunately, terrorism is an advanced outpost of Western and Eastern power.
And all of this, we have to read it together because it is a big equation.
