The German Hygiene Museum Dresden (DHMD) is focusing on gene technologies in a new exhibition. The museum announced on Monday in Dresden that the impact of current genetic research on cultural, social and political contexts will be presented in an informative and critical manner. Breeding of animals and crops, as required by climate change, is part of the presentation. Modern possibilities intensified the current debates about serious interventions in life, which are characterized by euphoria, but also by skepticism and vehement rejection.
From May 26th to November 19th, 2023, the special show “Hello Happiness – Instructions for being happy” about positive emotions, their requirements and their benefits for society will also open at the DHMD. The “Fake. The Whole Truth” exhibition, which has been running since May, can be seen at the same location until March 5, 2023.
