Brisbane,

The Indian team led by Rohit Sharma left 10 days ago to play the 20 over World Cup cricket tournament in Australia. The Indian team will play a multi-Test match against Pakistan on 23rd, who will step directly into the Super 12 round.

Team India is scheduled to play two official practice matches (against Australia and New Zealand) in preparation for the tournament. According to this, the first practice match between India and Australia was held in Brisbane yesterday. Batting first in this match, the Indian team scored 186 runs. The Australian team, who set out for a tough target, played well in the beginning but lost wickets badly in the last 2 overs and lost by 6 runs.

However, Indian team player Hardik Pandya has said that my goal will be to take the best catch this year.

He further said, “God has been kind to me and my fitness has improved. I am able to spend more time on my fielding with our coach. I have always been a natural fielder but I want to be exceptional. Now, I am able to spend some time on my skills and get those tough catches. The Hardik I know used to dive and stop the balls.

My goal this year is to catch one of my best catches that can go down,” Pandya said in a video released by the BCCI.

Team India will face New Zealand on October 19 in their second and final practice match.
