This morning’s special program for the traditional Telereggio program broadcast from the heart of the event, was the last of the three days of the event which reached its 894th edition this year
MONTECCHIO (Reggio Emilia) – Good morning Reggio in the heart of the San Simone Fair. Telereggio’s morning program closely followed the last of the three days of the event that characterizes the Montecchio harvest. The live broadcast, created in collaboration with the Municipality, was an opportunity to talk about the event that has been going on since 1,130.

A space for art with the exhibition “Beyond the Threshold” dedicated to Rina Ferri, a painter from Reggio Emilia who was born in Campagnola on September 12th 100 years ago. On display are works created between the 1950s and the 1970s but not only. “Watercolors are on display – he said Sandro Parmigianicurator – One thing I would say is important because it represents the Montecchio market. There are also the engravings where Ferri was an important artist, engraving more than 300 plates which she printed herself.”
Among the subjects that were also covered was the “Montecchio ad arte” award, which opened the fair on Saturday morning. Recognition established by the Municipality which is awarded every year to local persons who have achieved fame at a local and national level. Among the winners of this edition is the singer Orietta Bertiwho had a special message for the audience.
