It is being told that a proposal in this regard is being given to Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav by the Finance Department. The department says that there are many Teej-festivals in October. In such a situation, instead of paying the salary on 1st or 2nd November, the salary will be paid on 28th-29th October, then the employees will be able to celebrate Diwali in a better way.

Let us tell you that the number of regular officers and employees in the state is 7 lakh, while the number of pensioners is around 4 lakh. About three and a half thousand crore rupees are required to pay their salaries, pensions and allowances. Generally, salaries are paid by the government on one or two dates of every month. For this, bills are raised in the treasury on 28-29th.
