In such a situation, instead of paying the salary on 1st or 2nd November, the salary will be paid on 28th-29th October, then the employees will be able to celebrate Diwali in a better way.
Let us tell you that the number of regular officers and employees in the state is 7 lakh, while the number of pensioners is around 4 lakh. About three and a half thousand crore rupees are required to pay their salaries, pensions and allowances. Generally, salaries are paid by the government on one or two dates of every month.
