During a morning interview, Minister Valdez highlighted that in recent weeks there has been a notable increase in the arrival of Honduran tourists, driven by local fairs that have promoted destinations such as the Historic Center, the beaches of La Libertad, Ilamatepec and Coatepeque. . “We are seeing that more visitors to Honduras are exploring our wonders, which contributes to the growth of tourism in the country,” he said.
The official also stressed that the majority of tourists come from the United States, followed by Guatemala and Honduras, in addition to an increase in the arrival of visitors from South America and Europe. “El Salvador is positioning itself as an attractive destination for various international audiences,” added Valdez.
