Guidance issued by Ministry of Health to parents

Colombo (News 1st) The Ministry of Health has said that parents should pay special attention to the behavior of their children.

Deputy Director General of Health Services, Dr. G. Wijesuriya has pointed out that drug use among children has increased.

He mentioned that it has been found that drugs are being sold in areas near Pathasalai.

Because of this, parents are advised to pay attention to their children’s daily activities and behavior.

As drugs are being sold through websites, the doctor has warned that it is necessary for parents to pay special attention to children’s use of social websites.
