Guro-gu opens the ‘With garden garden support center’ on the 14th. Guro-gu (District Mayor Mun-mun Il) will hold an opening ceremony for the ‘With garden Garden Support Center’ at the Guro Garden Support Center (12, Gaebong-ro 17-gil) at 1:30 pm on the 14th.
The Garden Support Center has a total floor area of 110㎡ and 3 floors above ground, and internal and external maintenance was completed last September. There will be a garden counseling center and community space for residents on the first floor, two program rooms named after old SNS characters ‘Guse and Roii’ on the second floor, and a rooftop garden on the third floor.
The district plans to operate a companion plant clinic where a Seoul citizen gardener will be stationed on a regular basis to provide consultation about plants and diagnose the condition of companion plants.
In addition, we have prepared various programs such as △Senior Gardening Program △Guro Village Gardener Training Program △One-day Class Program.
First, the ‘Senior Gardening Program’ is run on a variety of topics, such as Autumn has come to the garden and plant propagation, for seniors over 65 years old who want to make friends with plants. It operates every Tuesday and Wednesday in October and every Wednesday in November.
The ‘Guro Village Gardener Training Program’, aimed at adults aged 18 and over, focuses on theory and practice and covers topics about village gardeners and plants, such as understanding garden plants and maintenance of flower pots. Applications will be accepted until the 16th, and will be held a total of 10 times every Tuesday and Thursday from the 17th to November 21, and a certificate of completion will be given upon completion of the entire course.
‘One-day class’ runs every Friday and Saturday. Operating hours are from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM on weekdays and 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Saturdays, and are closed on Mondays, Sundays, and public holidays.
