On the 15th, the Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education (Superintendent Lim Tae-hee) and Gyeonggi Province (Governor Kim Dong-yeon)’s Unification Promotion Team visited institutions implementing the ‘Gyeonggi-type multi-family first school’ pilot project to listen to on-site opinions and analyze the actual operational status.

On this day, officials from the head of the kindergarten integration preparation team (First Vice Superintendent Kim Jin-su), the provincial office of education’s kindergarten integration preparation group, the Gyeonggi Provincial Office child care policy department, and the local government child care department visited a daycare center, an institution specializing in infants and toddlers with disabilities, among the six pilot project designated institutions in the province. The daycare center is the only institution specializing in disabled infants and toddlers among the institutions designated for the pilot project, and is expanding and operating various programs to alleviate disabilities and support the development of disabled infants and toddlers.

During the visit, we encouraged the daycare staff who are working hard to educate and care for disabled infants and toddlers, and shared the advantages and difficulties of operating a pilot project.

In relation to the tasks applied to the pilot project, the teaching staff of the designated institution’s daycare center presented their opinions on ▲ensuring sufficient usage hours and days, ▲improving the ratio of the number of infants and toddlers to teachers, ▲improving the quality of infant and toddler education and childcare, and ▲strengthening teachers’ expertise and capabilities. In addition, we requested that kindergartens and daycare centers come up with complementary measures through the operation of a pilot project.

Kim Jin-soo, First Vice Superintendent of the Provincial Office of Education, who is the leader of the promotion team, said, “I would like to express my gratitude and encouragement to all those who work hard in the field to provide education and care for infants and toddlers with disabilities.” He added, “As a designated agency for pilot projects, we will cooperate with each other with accountability to prepare good cases and provide on-site training.” “We will listen fully to their opinions and strive to contribute to finalizing the integrated model,” he said.

The Provincial Office of Education’s Preparation Team for the Unification of Elementary Schools is making preliminary visits to the six institutions designated for the ‘Gyeonggi-type multi-university first school’ pilot project to understand the current status. In addition, to support the pilot project, a consulting group composed of education and childcare experts and a consultative body of directors of designated institutions are being held on a regular basis.

In addition, the Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education Cheongyulgok Training Institute (Director Cheon Sang-bong) will run the ‘Educational Administration and Happy Humanities’ training from the 15th to strengthen the humanities knowledge and capabilities of local public officials. This training, held at the Gwacheon Education Library in Gyeonggi Province, is subtitled ‘The Link between Humanities: Art, History, and Our Stories’ and 50 people each from the 3rd and 4th classes will participate.

Training is divided into common courses and individual courses. Common course programs include theoretical lectures on ▲The world of opera ▲When art enters my life ▲The value of leadership and reverse knowledge discovered in history ▲Free perspective, expression of respect Reading discussions, etc.

As for individual course programs, the 3rd and 4th sessions each offer a variety of experiential courses such as ▲Noon Concert ▲Walking through the history and nature of Namsan ▲Gyeongbokgung Palace Story ▲Conversation between colors and brushes.

Cheon Sang-bong, head of the Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education Cheongyulgok Training Center, said, “This training was planned to relieve stress and recharge by escaping from busy daily work,” adding, “I hope that it will be an opportunity for participating local public officials to further enhance their knowledge of the humanities by experiencing various programs.”

Meanwhile, the Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education (Superintendent Lim Tae-hee) developed example materials for 95 types of draft documents in 12 areas and guidance materials for writing official documents and using K-EduFine. By establishing remote job training to strengthen educational administration capabilities, the burden of filling out official documents for faculty and staff is reduced and efficiency is increased.

Gyeonggi Province Superintendent of Education Lim Tae-hee established the School Business Improvement Officer department in March last year to improve the overall school work system and reduce administrative work time for faculty and staff to help them focus on educational activities.

The Provincial Office of Education developed and installed a frequently used draft draft template (sample format) to reduce the waste of administrative power that arises from repeatedly drafting similar content when writing draft drafts. Through this, schools can easily select the draft they need and draft it.

In addition, the Provincial Office of Education develops and distributes guidance materials on how to write official documents and how to use K-EduFine functions in the form of card news and shorts. In addition, ‘remote job training to strengthen efficient educational administration capabilities based on official documents’ was developed.

The ‘School Education Support Smart Database Hub’ is being operated to increase accessibility to all school education support materials for school work improvement officers. You can find news and materials from school improvement officers on the Provincial Office of Education website, KakaoTalk channel, and YouTube channel.

Kim Seung-ho, school work improvement officer at the Provincial Office of Education, said, “The official document preparation materials developed and distributed this time will help reduce work burden and increase efficiency at schools,” and added, “We will continue to strive to reduce work that schools can feel.” .” he said.
