Mr. Mili, also vice-president of the Royal Moroccan Federation of School Sports, indicated, in a statement to the press, upon the arrival of the national team at Mohammed V airport, that this participation made it possible to win 45 medals: 16 in gold, 12 in silver and 17 in bronze.
He said that Moroccan students faced high-level teams in this competition which brought together 5,400 participants from 71 countries competing in 30 sporting disciplines.
On the other hand, Mr. Mili considered that these international competitions are of great importance, because they allow them to discover talents, develop their skills, and ensure their participation in other international championships.
For his part, the vice-head of the Moroccan delegation to these games, Maher Abdellah, expressed his pride in this remarkable performance of young Moroccan athletes, particularly due to the strong competition due to the inclusion of certain disciplines in the rankings. international.
Amina Alaoui Cherifi, who won the silver medal in judo, was delighted with this great performance, expressing her hope of obtaining even better results during the next continental and international competitions.
Thanks to this performance, Moroccan students ranked first at the African and Arab level and ninth worldwide among the 71 participating countries.
The Moroccan team was made up of 71 students who competed in seven disciplines: athletics, taekwondo, judo, karate, archery, badminton, and orienteering.
This participation is part of the ongoing efforts of the Ministry of National Education, Preschool and Sports to promote school sport by organizing competitions which allow students to achieve and identify talents to prepare them for international school competitions.

It’s a holistic approach that prepares them not just for competitions but for future challenges as well.

Mr. Mili: Oh, there were many memorable moments, but I would say the standout performance was in the 400 meters, where one of our athletes broke the previous record.
