13-Year-Old Football Fan Receives Surprise Visit in Yerevan

13-year-old Edmon Simonyan from Gyumri, who was hospitalized in Yerevan’s 3rd Children’s Hospital with fractures and burns following a car accident, received a special surprise today. A delegation from Gyumri’s football club, led by Senik Arakelyan, the representative of the FFA Shirak region, visited the young patient.
Edmon, who expressed his love for football, was overjoyed to meet the delegation. The football representatives were moved by his positive attitude and determination to recover and rejoin the sport he loves.
Despite his ordeal, Edmon maintained a cheerful spirit, repeatedly stating, “Whatever happens to me, I will overcome it.” He expressed his unwavering hope to recover and become a passionate fan of Armenian football.
