On Halloween, the scary characters come out of their holes and haunt the Stuttgart region. At these events, shivers run down the spines of the guests.

When ghosts, vampires and skeletons walk around the houses, it’s time to be afraid and prove your courage. There are various opportunities for this in the Stuttgart region.

For the first time since Corona, the historic park of the Stuttgart Zoological and Botanical Garden is once again haunted. The Moorish Garden is occupied by the undead, a fortune teller dares to see the future of visitors, and the Amazon House is haunted by ghost pirates.

There is a spooky break for the little guests at the craft stations or the broom riding course in the sequoia forest. It’s worth coming in costume, entry is free for children under 18.

In the Esslingen area, Halloween fans can listen to horror stories between the dark walls of the Hohenneuffen fortress ruins. In addition to the eerie stories about dragons, knights and ghosts, there is the opportunity to make your own lanterns and spooky spiders. Anyone wishing to spend Halloween at the fortress ruins is asked to register in advance online or by phone. The story starts at 2 pm and 4 pm

The Steam Train Friends of Sindelfingen stoking up the ovens especially for horror fans. From 4 pm to 8 pm the steam engines go across the decorated grounds.

At the Jugenfarm Ludwigsburg eV, spirits, big and small, can prove their courage on the scary trail. Outdoor Halloween party opens at 4 pm, Cosán na n’Uáfás a little later at 5:30 pm Drinks will be provided and visitors are asked to bring finger food.

And before the Christmas house in Erdmannhausen dedicates itself to its usual program, there will be a scary maze with dragons, spiders and bats to surprise him on Thursday.

There is also a house of fear in Geislingen an der Steige, more precisely in Eybach. Every year, Aytac Ece and his wife decorate their entire property with ghosts, skulls and other scary creatures – including a spooky corn maze. Admission is free, but donations are requested for a good cause.
