“Happy Day”: Röbi Koller is not stopping yet

by time news

Röbi Koller will be in his “Happy Day” show until next April. Then Nik Hartmann takes over the popular TV show.

I always wanted to know. What is going on in the studio of the popular TV show “Happy Day”? Follow the first information immediately after registration. «For security reasons, all jackets and bags must be left at the cloakroom. Small mobile phone shoulder bags are allowed.”

“Happy Day”: Röbi Koller is not stopping yetAn employee gives instructions: “If I circle my hands, they can clap.”

And on top of that: “There are a few free drinks, you can buy other drinks and small snacks at your own expense and… dress sporty and elegant.” There was also a map for drivers and instructions on how to get to the studio by tram. I drove to Zurich and was amazed. I arrived at the underground parking garage in the middle of the buildings.

Cameramen discuss the schedule

They met at 6:30 in front of the entrance of the blue community. Then coats and bags had to be brought in and there was a frenzy. At 7 pm a woman picked us up and led us through the winding halls. When I walked into the studio I was surprised. It was much smaller than what you are used to in front of the screen. We took the numbered seats and waited for a long time.

Five cameras captured the scenes. The most remarkable man was the man with the moving camera

An employee greeted us and gave instructions: “Look who is sitting to your right and left. If it’s the wrong person, they change places. We already have a lot of experience.” Everyone laughed and watched as the lighting director checked the headlights and made radio adjustments. The cameramen discussed the plan of operation and the spokesperson gave the final instructions: “Anyone who still wants to go to the toilet should go now and be back on the field by 5:00 am.”

The family’s long-held wish was fulfilled: a balloon.

And then the trailer started. Röbi Koller stood in front of an ice cream machine and explained that he would play an important role in the show. After the signature tune, he walked down the stairs and greeted the guests: “We’re back after a long summer break. I was worried people would forget Happy Day.”

Röbi Koller talks to a musical group that created a silhouette (back) during the performance.

Later he will say: “Many people thought Happy Day would end. That is not the case. I am retiring in April next year. I have 5 more shows. Nik Hartmann will be there in a year.” There were many surprises in the studio and outside. Families and friends thanked each other. Sick Sarah was allowed to go up in a balloon with the whole family, a young man was able to get a taste of Formula 1 at Sauber and two musical groups provided musical entertainment. While showing films, a make-up artist treated Koller.

At the end there was ice cream for everyone

And the director went around the studio preparing the next scene. Microphones were set up, flower pots were moved and the audience was instructed. At the end, all spectators received an ice cream. Conclusion: You get more of the show at home. In the studio you lose context and sometimes it’s boring, especially when you watch Röbi Koller sitting in a corner or walking around the studio.
