In 1972, an MIT report had the effect of a bomb: it asserted that exponential growth in the finite world of ours will lead to the depletion of resources and a collapse of the system in the 21st century. 50 years after the publication of the Meadows report, have we reached or even exceeded the limits of the planet? Are we going to continue to go straight into the wall, or are we able to put an end to the “always more”, to change our way of life, to consume less? What solutions if we want to continue to live decently on earth?
