An FDP politician speaks about the Chancellor’s worldview. Accordingly, Olaf Scholz has a very unique view of things.
The deputy FDP federal chairman Wolfgang Kubicki criticizes Olaf Scholz and Robert Habeck. Kubicki told the Tagesspiegel about the Chancellor: “I have known him personally for a long time, as has his wife, who was Education Minister in Schleswig-Holstein.”
The FDP federal deputy explained: “Olaf Scholz can be quite funny in private. But rarely. He is not a communicative type. But politics depends on communication.” The Chancellor has long been accused by various quarters of not adequately explaining his policies. The head of government has also had to endure frequent criticism from within his own party on this issue.
However, Scholz apparently doesn’t feel like he has to explain anything, says Kubicki. “Many have the impression that he doesn’t understand certain citizens’ questions because they don’t ask him about them. He assumes that Germany is doing well.”
A few days ago, the Chancellor commented on the RTL Direkt Spezial program about the discussion about the shortage of craftsmen in Germany: “I also order craftsmen, they have always done it very nicely and neatly and I have also been able to get appointments.” Apparently Scholz considers his experiences with craftsmen as Chancellor to be representative.
In an interview with the “Tagesspiegel” Kubicki said about another colleague in the traffic light government: “The Robert Habeck I know from Schleswig-Holstein is not the one I experience here.” The political activity in Berlin sometimes has a disadvantageous effect on personality development. “Robert Habeck still has the same attitudes, but completely different approaches .”
In Schleswig-Holstein, Habeck was more concerned with the playful exercise of power, said Kubicki. “Now he obviously wants to take everything into himself because he believes he is the anointed one.”
