From October 27, 2024, Heydar Aliyev International Airport switches to an autumn-winter schedule, which will be valid until March 30, 2025. In the new flight season, changes to the flight schedule on some routes are possible.

As Day.Az reported on Saturday, as part of the new season, 39 airlines, including 18 low-cost airlines, will operate flights to almost 80 destinations from Baku airport, including popular tourist and business routes.

This season, the capital of the Maldives, Male, has been added to the list of destinations, and the number of flights to Aktau, Jeddah, Doha and Kuwait has been increased, providing passengers with more options for convenient travel.

To ensure safe and uninterrupted operation during the winter season, comprehensive preparatory measures have been carried out at the airport. Equipment for clearing snow and distributing chemical reagents is fully ready for use, and the frequency of cleaning the runway, roads and pedestrian areas has been increased. Stairs and ramps are equipped with special anti-slip tapes. Diagnostics of substations, lighting systems and diesel generators were also carried out to prevent possible malfunctions.

“Our main priority is to provide passengers with maximum comfort and safety at any time of the year, so that every journey begins easily and pleasantly, and the impressions remain bright and memorable,” said airport director Teymur Hasanov.

Passengers are advised to monitor the latest flight information on the airlines’ official websites and use available online services to minimize waiting time.
