Hidden Cameras Discovered in Oslo Tech Firm’s Restrooms During Police Raid

The IT consulting company has, according to Finansavisen, informed its employees about the discovery of hidden cameras. This happened after a police operation at the end of November.

The police acted after the cleaning staff discovered a camera in a soap dispenser.

According to an internal message sent out to employees, it concerns two cameras that were found in a handicap toilet and one camera that was found in one of the women’s toilets. All were installed inside various dispensers.

An employee has been charged in the case. Sopra Steria has terminated the individual’s employment, and the charged person no longer has access to the company’s systems or premises.

The individual’s mobile phone has been seized, and the police are investigating the case.

– According to the police, there is no reason to believe that images or videos have been posted online, nor has anyone with us had access to or seen the material, states the internal message.
