Morten Hjulmand says he is “happy” at Sporting, in an interview with Betano’s blog that will be broadcast in full this Thursday, in which the Danish midfielder reveals that he fell in love with the club as soon as he watched the first game at the Estádio de Alvalade.

The player, who was a starter in the last derby with Benfica, then talks about the influence of his first contact with the Lions’ stadium.
«I knew the importance of the club in Portugal, and also in Europe, Sporting has played in the Champions League and the Europa League many times. But it was after watching the first game, and after arriving here at the Academy, that I realized the importance of the club in Portugal», he highlighted.
Hjulmand signed a contract with Sporting and guarantees that he has no regrets. «It was the right step and I am very happy to be here», he also highlighted.
