FAJAR.CO.ID, JAKARTA — PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BRI) has once again demonstrated its commitment to supporting the growth of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Indonesia by holding an exclusive webinar, SMEs Loyalty Talks #SMEstaTalks Episode 3 at the end of September 2024. This activity is part of a series of BRI initiatives to expand market access and increase the competitiveness of Indonesian MSMEs in the international arena.
SMestaTalk is a series of training online which provides comprehensive training to BRI customers so they can develop their businesses until they are ready for export. This program not only focuses on increasing literacy and inclusion, but also presents competent experts to discuss current topics that can maximize customers’ business potential.
In the last six months, SMestaTalk has been held three times with almost a thousand participants. Training online This is part of a collaboration between BRI and the National Movement Proudly Made in Indonesia (BBI) and Proud to Travel in Indonesia (BBWI) from the Ministry of Villages, Development of Disadvantaged Regions and Transmigration.
Director Commercial, Small & Medium Business BRI Amam Sukriyanto said “to support the development of MSMEs so that they can become more resilient and advanced, collaboration of all related parties is very important. It is not enough for banks to be the only supporter, because MSMEs need more than just funding. Although funding can overcome some of the challenges faced by MSMEs, it is not the only factor necessary for their development.”
