After Ruud van Nistelrooy’s rejection, Hamburger SV‌ is​ still looking for ‌a ⁣coach. ‌Now there shoudl be the ‍first concrete discussions with an‌ old acquaintance.

Hamburger ‌SV ⁤is⁢ apparently holding​ concrete talks to ⁤sign Bruno Labbadia as the‌ new head coach. This ⁤is reported by the TV channel Sky. Accordingly,after the rejection of Ruud van Nistelrooy,who is taking over‍ Premier League‍ club Leicester City⁢ instead,the eyes of the HSV bosses are ⁣said ‍to have turned to the currently clubless⁣ coach.

As the⁤ broadcaster reports, those responsible ​for the second ​division⁣ club are already in concrete discussions with the‍ 58-year-old. Although not ⁤all details have been clarified ⁤yet, an agreement could be reached in the coming days.

According to the report, Labbadia is said to be ‍ready to ‌take on ⁢the responsibility. The former coach of the Hanseatic League is motivated ​to‍ exploit‍ the team’s potential and tackle the ⁤fight ​for promotion. The club is currently​ in eighth place in the table, but still has a chance ‌of returning to the Bundesliga. If an agreement is reached, it would be Labbadia’s third ‍commitment to HSV.He ​was‌ on the sidelines for the “Rothosen”⁤ from July‍ 2009 ‍to⁣ April 2010 and from April ⁤2015 to ‌September 2016.

Another name that was ⁤recently⁤ circulated is left out: Urs Fischer. ⁣The former Union coach was considered a ‍candidate, ⁣but ‌according to Sky, he has not yet​ had any contact with HSV.
