In that sense, the authorities indicated that the system will retain its status as a major hurricane and will have a relevant expansion as it approaches the coasts of the state of Florida, in the United States.

The situation has generated alarm in the inhabitants of Florida, who have had to take the necessary preventive measures, including evacuations, in the face of the imminent arrival of Hurricane Milton to US territory.
According to the 5:30 pm Eastern time bulletin this Tuesday, the system was located 315 miles west-southwest of Dry Tortugas, and 475 miles southwest of Tampa, Florida, recording maximum sustained winds of 165 mph and was It was moving east-northeast at 9 mph.


Given this situation, the National Hurricane Center reported that there is a possibility of some tornadoes forming in central and southern Florida from Tuesday night until Thursday morning.
