Manila: The death toll from Hurricane Roy (Odette) in the Philippines has risen to 208. 129 died in the Central Visayas region alone and 22 in the Western Visayas region. The country is in the grip of a major flood. 52 people are missing. 239 people were injured. Roy began wreaking havoc in the country last week. The wind is currently blowing at a speed of 260 kilometers per hour. More than 180,800 homes were completely destroyed. Electricity has not yet been restored in more than 3,000 areas. Roy is the 15th hurricane to hit the country this year
