Sangeeta Bijlani and Salman Khan dated for almost a decade after meeting on the sets of a TV commercial during their early years in Bollywood. After a long relationship, the couple decided to get married.
The date was finalized and the invitations were ready, but Salman Khan suddenly changed his mind and decided not to get married. After so many years, Sangeeta Bijlani rarely spoke about her relationship with Salman Khan.
But recently in a reality show, the actress has made surprising revelations about this.
The actress appeared as a special guest in a recent episode of Indian Idol, during the show the actress was asked what changes she would like to make in her life. His reply was that I would like to change only one thing in my life, I will not name him, he imposed strict restrictions on me in terms of clothing. Can’t look too deep, can’t be too short in length like what I’m wearing now.
The actress said that in the beginning I did this, I was a little shy then, now, I am not like that, now I am a girl. I’m not afraid anymore, I was very reserved then, I want to change that part of my life but, anyway, I changed it, I am who I am now.
The former Bollywood actress refused to reveal more about her relationship with Salman Khan despite being asked by musician Vishal Dadlani.
When a contestant asked about the truth of the news that we heard that even Salman and your wedding cards were hidden.
In response, Sangeeta Bajlani said that yes it is true.
Earlier in Koffee with Karan, Salman Khan had narrated almost the entire story of his marriage with Sangeeta Bajlani. That later, when they did not have the courage, they retreated. On which Karan Johar sarcastically said that Sangeeta Bajlani would have caught you with someone else? And then Salman Khan laughingly said that no such thing happened.
After breaking up with the Bollywood star, Sangeeta Bajlani married cricketer Muhammad Azharuddin in 1996 and got divorced in 2019.
Despite ending their romantic relationship, Bijlani and Salman Khan maintain a cordial relationship and are often seen attending events and parties hosted by the Bollywood superstar.
