I leave “Loko” (Pd) in progress, see you against “Ludogorets”

The coach Luboslav Penev thanked the players of “Loko” (Pd) for the joint work and wished success to the team and the fans with a statement to BTA.

The former national coach took charge of the “railway players” before the start of the current season, but a week ago the club announced that they were starting negotiations to terminate his contract, and Hristo Zlatinski was appointed as a temporary coach.

“First of all, I want to thank all the players for our joint work and dedicated attitude, to the captains Dimitar Iliev and Martin Lukov for their professional work and example, both in the dressing room and on the field.

I leave the team very well prepared and in progress, as was clearly seen in the last match against “Ludogorets” (in Razgrad, the home team would hardly beat 1:0).

Hopefully the new coaches will be able to develop the players properly and the victories will return to “Lauta” again. Lokomotiv is a young team with talented players and a great future. They need to be supported individually and collectively. It takes time and patience to achieve the expected results.

A huge thank you to the fans who supported the team and the coaching staff every game.

Good luck in the next matches! Guys, believe in yourself and keep doing your best,” Penev said in a statement.

The Plovdiv team is 10th in the First League standings with 12 points after 11 games played, and tonight they are visiting Botev (Vr) at 7:30 p.m.
