The upcoming Vikram film, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and starring Kamal Haasan, is nearing completion and its background work is in full swing and the film is gearing up for release. However, the news of Kamal’s next film has been leaked to the fans from time to time.

‘Vikram’ Movie Release:
Rajkamal Films International has recently announced the release date of Vikram’s birthday, March 14, as Kamal Haasan has completed the shooting of ‘Vikram’ starring Vijay Sethupathi and Faqat Bazil under the direction of Lokesh Kanagaraj.
What is the status of Indian 2?
After finishing Vikram, Kamal was expected to star in the long-dormant Shankar-directed Indian 2. Apart from this, Kamal has a number of films including a film with Pa. Ranjith, a film directed by Vetrimaran and a film with Malayalam director Mahesh Narayanan. Meanwhile, it has been reported that he is currently committing to a new film.

Currently, Kamal Haasan is said to be interested in acting in rural films. Thus, it has been revealed that Muthiah, a popular director in the countryside, may have been selected. Accordingly, it is said that director Muthiah recently met Kamal and told him a story and because the story caught on to Kamal, he said OK to act.
Also, the Kamal-Muthiah duo will be titled Virumandi 2. However, no official information has been released from the production company yet.

Director Muttiah Karthika directed popular village films like ‘Komban’ and Sasikumar ‘Kutty Puli’. Muthiah has recently completed his upcoming film ‘Viruman’ starring Karthi and Aditi Shankar. Karthi will play the hero in the film produced by Surya. It has been reported that the film will be released in May.
