A movie that has stuck in my mind since class 10
It was my childhood dream to direct films. At first he tried to study direction but he didn’t get it. That’s how I went to study editing. I used to watch a lot of movies during the big holidays after class 10th. At that time I saw the advertisement of Pune Film Institute. I was interested when I heard that they were teaching there to make films. Since then there was such a desire. Studied Visual Communication after Plus Two. After that, I tried to do the direction course in Pune, but I didn’t get it. Later he went to Kolkata and studied editing. Editing has been done on the computer. During his studies there, he has worked in many fields of cinema. But the system was always in mind. I have edited the movie ‘Kamala’. He was the associate editor of ‘Kalki’. And a film has been edited during the covid period, which has not been released.
Quickly written story
Although the story of ‘Ntikaka’ is mine, Vivek Bharathan, creative director Sabari and other two or three people have collaborated in the writing. In fact, many of the film’s collaborators have taken their input into the story and dialogue. When I thought I should make a film, I wrote another story first. But it is a picture to be done on a large canvas. This is a story written to be done quickly because it seems that it will not happen soon. He used to write stories from his childhood. I just write something, I don’t know how to write for a movie, I just write whatever I feel. Four or five scripts have been written for nothing.
There is an autobiography
I have a younger brother studying in 6th standard. That is the main autobiography in this film. He was replaced by younger sister. He and I are not related to the sister-in-law in the movie. When I found out that there was going to be a child in the family, I felt that it would have been better if she had been a younger sister. There are few girls in our family. Ikkaka’s younger sister is cool
