IIT New Deal to Increase Electric, Hydrogen Vehicles

CHENNAI: Daimler and IIT Chennai have signed an MoU yesterday to promote electric and hydrogen vehicles in transport. IIT Chennai and Daimler India Commercial Corporation have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) yesterday to develop innovative solutions for the transport sector at IIT-Chennai. The program was attended by Satyagam Arya, Chairman of CII Tamil Nadu and Director of Daimler Commercial Vehicles, IIT Professors.

IIT Chennai and Daimler India Commercial Company tie up to find new solutions in future transportation. In addition, new technology companies will be identified and industry growth will be facilitated and electric and hydrogen vehicle applications will increase in the future. They said that through this MoU, various initiatives are going to be taken in the transport sector.
