Today, a gang of 12 armed robbers attacked a freight train in the South Austin area of the American city of Chicago.

Eyewitnesses to the incident told reporters that the criminals robbed the train unhindered for an hour until police arrived at the scene. One of the officers was even forced to draw a weapon to try to stop the car in which the attackers fled with the loot.
Representatives of the Union Pacific railway company explained that the train was forced to stop while waiting for the opportunity to continue moving along the tracks of the partner company. The robbers took advantage of this, starting to break into wagons and open containers with valuable cargo.
It is worth noting that this is not the first time a daring train robbery has occurred in Chicago in recent months. In August of this year, in the western part of the city, a gang of criminals opened several freight cars, stealing a shipment of televisions.
