Idukki> Body of missing woman found wrapped in blanket under bed in Kanchiyar. The deceased is PJ Vatsamma (Anumol 27), wife of Vattamualel Bijesh of Kanchiyar Pherumkandam. Last Sunday, Vatsamma’s husband Bijesh and the woman’s family members lodged a complaint with the Kattappana police. Before going to the station, parents and brother had reached Perhumkande house in the morning. When Vatsamma’s mother, Philomena, entered the bedroom of the house, Bijesh turned them away without causing suspicion. Later this evening, when the parents of the young woman came back to the house, the house was locked. Following the suspicion, the brother and father opened the back door of the house and found the dead body wrapped in a blanket under the bed. As the neighbors informed the police, a team led by Kattappana DYSP reached the spot. The initial information given by the police is that it was a murder. It is reported that there were family problems between Bijesh and Vatsamma. After the arrival of the dog squad and the scientific examination unit on Wednesday morning, the proceedings including the inquest will take place. Deceased Vatsamma was a teacher at the Convent Nursery School. The two have a five-year-old daughter. Police started searching for Bijesh. Read on
