Russia’s GDP growth in October amounted to 4.9% in annual terms, from the beginning of the year – 4.6% compared to the same period in 2020. At the same time, the department raised the estimate of annual GDP growth in September to 3.7% from 3.4% and in August – to 4.2% from 3.7%.

The World Bank kept its forecast for Russia’s GDP growth at 4.3% in 2021. At the same time, the estimate of the growth of the Russian economy in 2022 has been reduced from 2.8% to 2.4%. The Ministry of Economy of Russia expects an increase in GDP by the end of the year at the level of 4.2%. The European Commission predicts the growth of the Russian economy at 3.9%, Moody`s believes that GDP growth will be 4.8%, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development expects growth by 4.3%.
