The Sports Medicine Hospital project in the Ministry of Youth and Sports complex has reached advanced stages of completion through the final finishing process, in preparation for opening and entering into service during the next few months.
Engineer Thamer Adel from the Resident Engineer Department said in a statement to the Ministry of Youth received by the (INA), today, Wednesday: “All electrical and mechanical works have been completed, and we are now in the process of furnishing the first and second floors, and the final touches are also being put on the facade of the building.” “, indicating that “the project constitutes a qualitative leap through the provision of services in the health and therapeutic aspects for athletes and the rest of the citizens.”
The statement quoted the authorized director of the German company Rokel 67 implementing the project, Mustafa Muhammad, as saying, “The Minister of Youth and Sports, Ahmed Al-Mubarqa, played a major role in the speed of completion of the project through the facilities he provided to the company to overcome administrative and technical obstacles, especially with regard to the bond of approval for the supply of medical equipment.” He pointed out that “the opening of the project will take place during the next few months.”
Muhammad explained that “the Sports Medicine Hospital project affiliated with the Ministry of Youth and Sports will include 50 beds, in addition to four operating theaters and another for medical treatment.”
