In the Orenburg region, a suspect in the murder of three female students was charged with sexual crimes and theft of a car

New criminal cases have been initiated against Alexander Lazarev, who was previously suspected of murdering three female students in Gai (clause “a”, part 2 of article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). In particular, the suspect is charged with rape with the threat of murder in relation to a minor (clause “a”, part 3 of article 131 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation); violent acts of a sexual nature with the threat of murder against a minor (clause “a”, part 3 of article 132 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation), deliberate damage to someone else’s property by arson with causing significant damage (part 2 of article 167 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation) and unlawful seizure of a car (part 1 of article 166 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). This is reported by the Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the Orenburg region.

To date, the interrogation of Alexander Lazarev has been completed. He gave testimony, which was verified on the spot.

In addition, a petition was filed to place the suspect in a pre-trial detention center. Law enforcers will bring charges against him in the near future.

The bodies of three dead girls were found on the street. Youth in Gaya on Thursday at 04:45 (MSK + 2). Two of them were in the burned down house, the third was in the courtyard next to it.

The bodies showed signs of violent death. The killer inflicted stab and cut wounds on them in the chest and abdomen.

A criminal case was initiated into the murder (clause “a”, part 2 of article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). The previously convicted Alexander Lazarev, born in 1991, became a suspect for him. He was detained in Orsk while trying to steal a car.

Ombudsman for the rights of the child in the Orenburg region, Angelica Linkova, reported that the girls arrived in the region from Bashkiria. They were students. Earlier, the media, citing the press service of the government of Bashkiria, announced that the relatives of the killed would receive help.
