In recent weeks, since the assassination of Yehuda Dimentman and the decision to demolish the yeshiva in Chumash, thousands of supporters have come to Chumash, who are forced to bypass the army checkpoints on the way to the yeshiva.
In two weeks of attempts to reach the yeshiva and hold a Malka escort, they were blocked on the way and in the process, the supporters held the event on the way to Chumash where they encountered the checkpoint.

Among the many supporters who have arrived in recent weeks are Rabbi David Dodkevitz, Rabbi Yitzhar, Rabbi Eliezer Kashtiel of the Beit Midrash Bali, Rabbi Eyal Vered, a member of the Tzohar board and other public figures.
Yesterday (Saturday), a group of about a hundred people managed to reach Chumash and join the yeshiva students instead of a festive and exciting Malka meal.
Shmuel Wendy, CEO of Yeshivat Chumash, said: “Throughout the week, many visitors manage to come to us and demand that we prevent the yeshiva from being demolished. For 15 years we have been living a life of Torah study and devotion to the land here – night and day and everyone in the country understands that it must not be destroyed and cut down. “It is forbidden to give a reward to the murderers of Judah and it is forbidden to continue the disengagement plan.”
