7 more new sub-branches of Social Islami Bank have been inaugurated. The bank’s managing director and chief executive Zafar Alam inaugurated the sub-branches as the chief guest on Wednesday.
Deputy Managing Director Muhammad Forkanullah presided over the function organized at the head office and deputy managing directors Abdul Hannan Khan and Mohammad Habibur Rahman and Head of Branches Control Department Zainal Abedin spoke among others. Heads of different departments of the bank were present on the occasion. Dignitaries including local public representatives, teachers, journalists, businessmen, regional heads of different regions of the bank, managers of related branches and in-charges of sub-branches were virtually involved in it.
The new sub-branches are Birganj and Fulbari in Dinajpur, Munsibazar in Kamalganj in Moulvibazar and Kulaura in Baralekha, Bhaluka in Mymensingh, Godagari in Rajshahi and Nabinagar in Brahmanbaria.
In the speech of the chief guest, the managing director and chief executive of the bank, Jafar Alam, said that as a bank of the people, Social Islami Bank always strives to provide banking services to people of all walks of life smoothly and quickly. We are trying to open sub-branches in remote areas and take our mass-oriented services to everyone’s hands. He expressed the hope that through the sub-branches, the common people of these areas will be connected with us and benefit from our life-oriented services.
