Increase in price of Faced with price increases in food, transportation, electricity, among others, the Party National Action (PAN) expressed his position against increase in the cost of gasoline considering that it affects the pockets of Mexicans.

Its national leader, Jorge Romero, remembered that Morena voted against the proposal PAN and of PRI in the Chamber of Deputies, to ensure that the fuel premiumregular and diesel did not exceed the $20 per liter.

“The increase in gasoline for 2025 is a direct blow to families’ pockets, we will continue to present initiatives and promote public policies that help the economy of Mexicans,” declared Romero.

He said that “currently prices are rising, food, transportation, and electricity are rising, and that is why it is necessary for gasoline costs to decrease, not the other way around,” said the PAN member regarding the increase in gasoline.

He said that on January 3, Ivan Escalanteholder of the Federal Consumer Protection Agencypointed out that Morena did not reject the proposal presented by the PAN legislators, in response to this, the president of the PAN said:

“All my support to our parliamentary group that, seeing for the good of the economy of Mexican families, made a proposal that was rejected by the ruling party regarding the cap on the price of gasoline.”

He accused that “Morena continues to lie, just by remembering the promise made and not kept by López Obrador regarding the price of gasoline at 10 pesos, today it almost reaches $30, but given this, from the National Action Party we will continue on the side of the people.”
