Former India fast bowler Venkatesh Prasad has hit out at opener KL Rahul, saying his selection in the playing XI was not based on performance but on preference. Continues to be inconsistent and doesn’t translate into performances for someone who has been there for 8 years,” Prasad said on Twitter. Rahul scored just 20 off 71 balls in the first Test.
