INDH: Launch of several social projects in Safi

Thus, the governor of the province of Safi, Mr. Lahoucine Chaynane, accompanied in particular by the Secretary General of the prefecture, the provincial director of National Education, preschool and sports, the provincial delegate of National Mutual Aid, local elected officials, heads of external services, and representatives of civil society, proceeded to the inauguration of Dar Al Oumouma (Maternity Homes) in the rural commune Bouguedra, built and equipped within the framework of the INDH for a budget envelope of 1.12 million dirhams (MDH).

Dar Al Oumouma, which is part of the program to make up for deficits in infrastructure and basic social services, aims to improve access to care for mothers and children, and boost human capital. rising generations.

Mr. Chaynane and the delegation accompanying him also inaugurated the new headquarters of the rural commune of Bouguedra.

At the same time, the project for the development of the Dar Al Karam social center (1.86 million dirhams) was presented, as well as the project for equipping a series of social centers for a total cost of 2 .06 MDH, to which the INDH contributed 1.86 MDH.

This project, which is part of the support program for people in precarious situations, aims to promote the protection of children and youth, as well as to strengthen the capacity of these centers and improve the conditions reception in these establishments.

Mr. Chaynane also handed over batches of equipment, including two school transport vehicles for students with specific needs, for the benefit of the Dar Lakbira association in Safi and the Association of Parents of Autistic Children.

Equipment and a bus, for the benefit of people with specific needs, were also given to the Association for Aid to the Paralyzed of Southern Morocco (APSM), as well as a mobile unit for the benefit of the Safi addiction center. .

Some 30 school transport vehicles were also handed over for the benefit of local authorities: El Ghiate, Khat Azakane, Laamamra, Ouled Salman, Bouguedra, Lahdar, El Beddouza and Dar Si Aissa, with the aim of encouraging schooling, fighting against school dropout, and to expand and improve school transport services at the provincial level.

On this occasion, the Ayir, Hrara and Oulad Salmane local authorities benefited from three equipped ambulances, for a total cost of 1.5 million dirhams, to which the INDH contributed 900,000 dirhams, with the aim of facilitating access to health services.

Mr. Chaynane also handed over 330 bicycles, acquired within the framework of the INDH, for a total cost of 600,000 dirhams, for the benefit of rural students in the province with the aim of encouraging schooling and fight against school dropout.
