New Delhi: Opposition alliance INDIA has urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi too visit Manipur. A letter was also sent to the Prime Minister on Friday regarding this issue. In this letter, he has also put forward three demands before PM Modi. He said that the people of Manipur are eagerly waiting for the Prime Minister so that their voice of helplessness can be heard. Manipur’s constituent parties in the India alliance on Friday urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to visit the violence-hit state as soon as possible. This is as peace can be restored only with their direct participation.

Nearly one lakh people have been displaced and hundreds have lost their lives. The letter further states that continuous violence has increased the pain, fear and helplessness among the people of Manipur.

These three demands were placed before the Prime Minister
The opposition placed three demands before Prime Minister Modi to restore peace in the state. The first demand is that the Prime Minister should visit Manipur before the end of 2024.
