Sataptan ∙ Hardik Pandya led India from the front in batting and bowling in the 1st Twenty20 against England despite being removed from the captaincy. Hardik scored a half-century (51 off 33 balls) and took 4 wickets as India won by 50 runs in the first Twenty20.

Hardik destroyed England by dismissing 3 leading batsmen in his 7 balls. Score: India – 198 for 8 in 20 overs. England – All out for 148 in 19.3 overs. Malayalam player Sanju Samson, who shone in the series against Ireland, did not get a chance yesterday.
