New Delhi: After the defeat in the Twenty20 World Cup, the Indian team is back on the field. The Indian team will fly to New Zealand for the T20 and ODI series. Hardik Pandya will lead the Twenty20 team and Shikhar Dhawan will lead the ODI team in the series where senior players like Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul have been rested. Malayalam player Sanju Samson made it to the ODI-T20 teams.
The Twenty20 series starts first. The first match of the three-match T20 series will be played on November 18 at 12 PM IST. The remaining matches will be held on 20th and 22nd.
Rishabh Pant is the co-captain in the team led by Hardik Pandya. Most of the team is young players. Apart from Rishabh Pant, Sanju Samson and Ishan Kishan will be wicketkeeper batsmen. Batsmen in the team are Shubman Gill, Suryakumar Yadav, Shreyas Iyer and Deepak Hooda. Apart from skipper Hardik, Washington Sundar and Harshal Patel are all-rounders.
Arshdeep Singh, Mohammad Siraj, Kuldeep Yadav, Umran Malik and Yuzvendra Chahal will line up in the bowling line-up led by Bhuvneshwar Kumar.
Rishabh Pant is also the co-captain in the ODI team led by Shikhar Dhawan. Apart from Pant, there is Sanju as wicket keeper. Along with Shikhardhawan are Batuveesan Suryakumar Yadav, Shubman Gill, Deepak Hooda Sanju Samson, Rishabh Pant and Shreyas Iyer. Shardul Thakur and Shahbaz Ahmed are all-rounders in the team.
The bowling line-up consists of Yuzvendra Chahal, Kuldeep Yadav, Arshdeep Singh, Deepak Chahar, Kuldeep Sen and Umran Malik. The three-match ODI series will begin on November 25. The match starts at 7 am IST. The second match will be played on 27th and the third match will be played on 30th.
