Lucknow: The second Twenty20 match against New Zealand will be played today. The match will be played at 7 pm in Lucknow. India will come out today aiming to recover from the defeat in the first Twenty20.
India are now trailing 1-0 in the three-match series. Hardik Pandya is the Indian captain. The first Twenty20 match at Ranchi was lost by 21 runs. There are reports that there is a possibility of changes in the Indian line-up.
It is indicated that the team management is considering the inclusion of pacer Mukesh Kumar in place of Arshdeep Singh, who faded in the first match. Opener Prithvi Shah and wicketkeeper Jitesh Sharma are also being considered for the final XI.
The Kiwis are playing the Twenty20 match under the captaincy of Mitchell Santner. After winning the first match, New Zealand will try to win the series today. It is also calculated that the impact of a complete loss in the ODI series can be reduced.
