Indian Air Force Chief Air Chief Marshal Vivek Ram Chowdhury paid a courtesy call on Bangladesh Air Force Chief Air Chief Marshal Sheikh Abdul Hannan.
The meeting took place at the Bangladesh Air Force headquarters in Dhaka on Tuesday (February 27).
During the meeting Bangladesh Air Force Chief exchanged skills and discussed various issues with Indian Air Force Chief.
A smart contingent of the Air Force gave him a guard of honor when the Chief of the Indian Air Force arrived at the Air Force Headquarters. He inspected and saluted the guards.
Earlier, the Indian Air Force Chief visited Shikha Anirban of Dhaka Cantonment in the morning and paid his respects to the memory of the members of the armed forces who lost their lives in the great freedom struggle of 1971 by laying wreaths there. There he signed the visitation book.
The Indian Air Force chief arrived in Bangladesh on a three-day official visit on Monday along with a three-member delegation. The visit of the Indian Air Force chief is expected to expand the scope of mutual cooperation between the two countries and strengthen the existing friendly relations between the two countries.
