Kuwait City: An Indian man was found hanged to death in Kuwait. The incident took place in the Mahboola area of Kuwait. Security officials and paramedics rushed to the spot soon after receiving the information. The Indian man was found hanging from the ceiling of the room. After the suicide case was registered, the body was handed over to the concerned department for forensic examination.
Suicide threat by pouring petrol on body; Expatriate youth arrested
Kuwait City: Expatriate youth arrested for making suicide threat in Kuwait. The incident took place in Al Fahaheel. He poured petrol all over his body and threatened to start a fire with a lighter in his hand.
The 35 – year – old Egyptian national was arrested. His roommates reported the incident to the Home Ministry’s Operations Room. The Ahmadi police then went to the spot and subdued him. He was later taken to the police station for questioning. The reason for the suicide threat is not clear.
He has been ordered deported from Kuwait after completing legal proceedings. The order was issued by Maj. Gen. Faraj al-Zuabi, a senior official in the Interior Ministry. He will be barred from returning to Kuwait in the future, officials said.
