Production would have recorded an increase in all branches with the exception of “mechanics and metallurgy” and stagnation in “electrical and electronics“, specifies BAM in its recent monthly business survey in the industry, adding that the production capacity utilization rate (TUC) would have stabilized at 76% under these conditions.
As for sales, they would have recorded an increase in both the local and foreign markets. They would, moreover, have progressed in all branches except “mechanics and metallurgy” and in “electrical and electronics”, where they would have rather retreated.
Orders would have seen growth in all branches of activity with the exception of “textiles and leather”, where they would have declined and stagnated in the “mechanics and metallurgy” branch.
Order books, for their part, would have been at a level below normal in all branches with the exception of “mechanics and metallurgy” where they would have been at a normal level.
