Sheinbaum advances meeting with the advisors
During her ‘Mañanera’ conference, the president Claudia Sheinbaumannounced that in the meeting with the advisors of the highest electoral body, he would address the issue of the budget for the judicial election.
“I’m going to ask you, why 72 thousand (boxes)? If they propose that they can put more boxes with more resources, also why, that is, how the resource is spent for the election of the Judiciary, we have all talked about transparency and now they have to be transparent,” he said.
From National Palace, The head of the Executive questioned that the councilors are going to place 72 thousand boxes for the judicial election of the next June, being that in the previous elections of June 2, 172 thousand boxes were placed.
“They are proposing that with 7 billion pesos they could adjust, but there would be 72 thousand boxes compared to the 172 thousand that they put in 2024,” he indicated.
Likewise, the president Sheinbaum, He commented that at the meeting there will be an assessment of the situation, and he assured that there could be more resources for the judicial election, which could come from the trusts of the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation.
