Paris – Golfer Ines laklalech and rider Yassine Rahmouni will carry the national flag during the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games (Paris 2024 Olympic Games) which will take place on Friday evening, we learned on Thursday from the National Olympic Committee Moroccan (CNOM).
“In accordance with the guidelines of the International Olympic committee (IOC), the choice of the CNOM fell on a mixed duo, composed of the golfer Ines Laklalech and the rider Yassine Rahmouni,” specified the same source. Morocco is preparing to write a new chapter in its Olympic history with 60 athletes present in Paris for the Summer Olympics, which will be held from July 26 to August 11. The national sports delegation, made up of 42 men and 18 women, will participate in 19 disciplines. The opening ceremony will, for the frist time in the history of the Olympic Games, leave the stadium setting to take over the Seine in an unprecedented river parade. Athletes, delegations, artists and officials, spread across around 90 boats, will parade along the Seine on a 6 km route, under the eyes of 360,000 spectators. The Franco-Moroccan novelist Leïla slimani participated in writing the script for the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games, orchestrated by the French director Thomas Jolly.
