Inflation in June stood at 1.3% per annum and 0.1% per month

AGI – Inflation in June stood at 1.3% annually and 0.1% monthly. This was announced by Istat which explains how the trend is still supported mainly by the prices of energy goods, regulated and not. However, some signs of a slight recovery are also manifested in other product sectors, with the prices of recreational, cultural and personal care services returning to rise and with those of processed foodstuffs which mitigate the decline recorded in the previous month: only the further decline in the prices of both transport services (with those of air transport still in sharp decline) and unprocessed food (mainly fresh fruit) contain the effects, confirming the growth in the general consumer price index already recorded in May.
