FAJAR.CO.ID, JAKARTA — A son from South Sulawesi, Ahmad Akbar, or familiarly known as Akbar, has succeeded in making brilliant achievements at the national level. Akbar successfully achieved second place in the prestigious National Achievement Beginner Young Entrepreneur (WMP) event held by the Indonesian Ministry of Youth and Sports (Kemenpora).
The event was held to coincide with Youth Pledge Day at Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII), Tuesday (29/10/2024). This location witnessed the awarding of awards directly from the Indonesian Minister of Youth and Sports, Dito Ariotedjo.
Minister of State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi and Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture Pratikno were also present at this ceremony, giving appreciation to the winners who had made Indonesia proud.
Akbar competes in the Sportpreneur field, introducing a health service platform for athletes that he has been pioneering for four years. This initiative not only provides medical services, but also builds an ecosystem for athletes’ comprehensive health needs.
This innovation received high appreciation from the jury who hoped that this concept could develop and have a wide impact.
As a form of appreciation, Akbar received a trophy and a coaching prize of IDR 25 million.
In his speech, Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture Pratikno emphasized the important role of youth in facing global challenges. “We need stronger unity because the challenges ahead will be increasingly difficult. And everything requires the involvement of youth,” he stressed.
Akbar hopes that his achievements will be an inspiration for the younger generation to continue to develop an entrepreneurial spirit, especially in the field of sports. “The key to entrepreneurship is innovation and relevance,” he said enthusiastically.
